The development of the project has required the creation of a dedicated database, aimed at storing all oligonucleotide sequences. This database has been called MEDIANTE.

MEDIANTE is a J2EE platform deployed under a Tomcat web server. It is based on a PostgreSQL relational database. This database contains into around one hundred tables of all the annotations concerning transcripts and oligonucleotides.

Data can also be directly downloaded from the home page of the server. Subscription is managed by the French National Genopole® Network, and provides access to some interactive tools, such as customized selection of oligonucleotides, or the storage of microarray data.
